Collaborative Problem Solving Advanced Class- AM series

This class meets two mornings per week for 4 weeks and registrants should plan on attending all sessions:
Thursdays and Fridays: September 8-9, September 15-16, September 22-23, and September 29-30


FREE. Join us on two consecutive morning each week for these ADVANCED LEVEL classes especially designed for foster parents! Classes are taught by Think:Kids® certified Collaborative Problem Solving Trainer Randi Cooper and include in-depth learning and hands-on practice applying Collaborative Problem Solving to everyday situations.

This class provides you with the opportunity to:

  • Get better at identifying thinking skills, triggers, and expectations
  • Apply part of the model at home and then discuss in class
  • Practice using Collaborative Problem Solving on real problems with support from an experienced, certified Collaborative Problem Solving trainer

Refreshments and child care will be provided.

What is Collaborative Problem Solving?

It is a way of understanding and addressing challenging behaviors in youth. It works by teaching problem solving skills to help youth navigate everyday issues with greater success. The purpose of this class is to provide you with CPS training so you can use the model with your foster youth on a daily basis.
